Biography
Carina Miller has been a Civil Litigation Associate at Employee Justice Legal Group since 2021, representing clients in cases involving employment discrimination and retaliation, disability discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, defamation, and wage and hour violations. Equally fluent in English and Spanish, Ms. Miller communicates with Spanish-speaking clients directly and effectively.
Law is Carina Miller's second career. She received her law degree from Southwestern Law School in 2020, after spending almost a decade teaching at Occidental College, CA. Ms. Miller has a strong interest in civil rights and emplioyment law and is proud to work with other EJLG attorneys and staff representing clients of limited financial resources who would otherwise find it difficult to access the justice system. She works devotedly to obtain the best possible results for her clients, in and out of court. Prior to working at EJLG, Ms. Miller was a staff attorney in the Right to Counsel Workgroup of the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles (LAFLA), providing legal counsel and representation to Southern California tenants.
